The Suzuki GSX-R1000 is a bike that offers excellent performance and is in a class of its own. The bike has a tough looking design and has fabulous road presence. The bike handles beautifully and is exceptionally stable. The bike delivers great acceleration and yet it can be turned with relative ease. The bike has something different to offer compared to the other bikes in its segment.

The Suzuki GSX-R1000 review indicates that the bike comes with 999cc 16-valve TSCC DOHC engine. This engine can deliver power of 160 bhp at 9500 rpm along with peak torque of 110 Nm at 8000 rpm. The bike has 6 speed gear feature. The length of the bike is 2045mm and its width is 720mm while the height is 1130mm.
The bike is extremely fast and the engine is designed so as to provide maximum combustion efficiency. This in turn delivers excellent power and torque. The throttle response is also good and the exhaust emissions are also reduced. The bike also has the Suzuki Drive Mode Selector feature and this enables the rider to select from three possible fuel injection and ignition system maps.
Depending on the preference of the rider the amount of power is delivered. The maps are named as A, B and C and the selection of it can be done through a button on the left side of the handle bar. The bike has inverted telescopic coil spring front suspension and link type gas damped fully adjustable spring preload rear suspension.
The bike has mono block radial callipers that are attached to floating 310mm discs and this makes the brakes extremely responsive. The bike weighs 205 kgs and its ground clearance is 130mm. The fuel tank limit of the bike is 17.50 litres and it has a wheelbase of 1405mm.
