The Mercedes SL-Class was launched as the fifth generation vehicle by the Mercedes Benz automobile company. The exterior design of the car along with its interiors has been revamped. The SL-Class comes with a 3.0L V6 engine and the other engine option is a 5.5L V8 engine. The 3.0L V6 engine can deliver power of 306 bhp along with torque of 350 Nm. The 5.5L V8 engine delivers power of 382 bhp and the torque is 530 Nm. The car has 7G-TRONIC 7-speed automatic transmission.

The 3.0L V6 petrol engine can deliver mileage of 6.3 km/litre in the city while the mileage on the highway is 9.4 km/litre. The 5.5L V8 petrol engine can deliver mileage of 4.8 km/litre in the city and the mileage on the highway is 7.3 km/litre.

The interiors of the car have new seats with perforated leather and contrast stitching in silver color. The car has a hydraulic operated Vario roof fold which can be operated in only 16 seconds. The car also has dashboard materials of high quality.

The car has several standard safety features and these include side airbags, TeleAid emergency communication system, antilock brake system along with brake assist, active body control and pop up roll bar.

The price of the car is around Rs 1.15 crore. The car is available in three design variations and these include Mercedes Benz SL 500, SL 600 and SL 350.

The car is available in 14 stylish colors and these include magma red, tektite grey metallic, metallic obsidian black, metallic travertine beige, tanzanite blue metallic, andradite green, tellurium silver, black, green black metallic, brilliant silver metallic, jasper blue metallic, amber red metallic, topaz blue and alabaster white.
